A native of Beauport, Isabelle began studying piano at age 6 and then quickly distinguished herself in various provincial, national, and international competitions, winning several awards. At 14, she was awarded the bronze medal at the Ludmila Knezkova-Hussey international competition in New Brunswick. In 1997, she was invited on four occasions to perform with the Orchestre Symphonique de Quebec during its morning symphonies.

As a finalist in the Jeunes Artistes de Radio-Canada competition in 2000, she recorded a recital for the CBC at the Salle Henri-Gagnon music hall. That same year, she won first prize in the category "Advanced 1" during the Concours Clermont-Pépin competition. She won second place during the Canadian Music Competition in Toronto, Canada.

Beginning in the summer of 1998, Isabelle has attended professional development sessions at the Orford Arts Centre with renowned pianists, including Marc Durand, André Laplante, Henri Brassard, and Richard Raymond. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance in Michèle Royer’s class at the Faculty of Music of the Université de Laval. She continued her studies in the classes of Francis Dubé. She further mastered her craft by completing a Master’s degree in Piano Performance with Paul Stewart at the Université de Montréal.

On December 5, 2001, Isabelle has won first place in the Concours Solo avec Orchestre competition during the Université de Laval’s annual celebrations at the Palais Montcalm de Québec. She earned a $5000 scholarship by winning this prestigious competition. That same year, Isabelle also won the Bruno-Biot Scholarship for the piano student who received the highest score during the instrument exam.

Since then, Isabelle has won Université de Laval’s recording competition for two years in a row. She was again a finalist at the Canadian Music Competition in Toronto, Canada. In 2003, Isabelle recorded a radio broadcast for the CBC. In July 2003, she represented the province of Quebec during the music competition of the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Association. During this competition, she won first place.

To this day, Isabelle continues to perfect her art by offering piano accompaniment, recording music, and performing at both private events and renowned restaurants.
